Could someone give example how to estimate the price of microchannel heat exchanger?
I plan to design the microchannel heat exchanger for seawater desalination plant, by using naval brass and titanium as its materials.
take your specs to alfa laval and ask them.
product flow rate, product input pressure, and max pressure loss,
service flow rate, service input pressure, and acceptable pressure loss,
product input temp, required product outlet temp, and service input temperaure These are the minimum specs required.

general matl. is stst.316, but alfa laval can price in many matl.s

with the above specs they use a pc program to quote, so its no big deal to quote several different arrgts.
